The screens of Orchestra MAX are coated with acryl on one side that is UV-proof and rotting-proof. This coating ensures that the screen doesn’t have to be rolled up during the first rain.
This type of screen is especially suited for installations that are exposed fiercely to the changing weather and pollution.
AS (αe,B): Solar absorption (% solar energy that is absorbed by the screen).
The lower the fraction, the more energy gets absorbed by the screen. Dark colours absorb more energy and they pass more warmth.
RS (ρe,B): Solar reflectance (% of the incident solar radiation that is directly reflected by the screen).
The lower the fraction, the more energy gets reflected on the screen.
TS (τe,B): Solar transmittance (% solar energy that gets through the screen).
The lower the fraction, the more energy gets through the screen. AS + RS = sunproof effect - AS + RS + TS = 100%
TV (τv,B): Visual light transmittance (% visible light that will be transmitted).
The lower this factor, the better for the eyes.
Gtoti: Total solar energy transmittance in outside applications (the amount of solar-energy that gets through if you place the screen from the inside).
